My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mr. Worldwide is a gregarious fellow with a large head and larger heart! You would never know this two year old gentleman was scooped up from a life on the streets. He has immediately adapted to a life of luxury and would be happy to be the king of your castle.

Mr. Worldwide makes a great work from home companion. He has adapted to his foster family's routine and will follow them from room to room during the day. He is a cuddler and absolutely loves having his big cheeks and head scratched while he makes biscuits in the air, happily chatting with you. He is comfortable around new people and will flop right down immediately to receive pets. When he's not finding new places to snooze, he still has a lot of energy and loves playing with a variety of toys. He can be very active during play time! He loves his scratch pad and will run over to it to scratch when the urge hits. His favorite time of the day is meal time, he absolutely loves wet food. Mr. Worldwide is currently being fostered with another cat (Big Head), and they are doing great together! They could go home as a pair, or Mr. WW could likely adjust to another cat companion given proper introductions. We think he would also do great with respectful kiddos!

Mr. Worldwide is estimated to be about 2.5 years old. He has been neutered, dewormed, flea treated, microchipped, vaccinated, and has tested FIV+/FeLV-. If you are looking for an easygoing cat with a great personality, consider bringing Mr. Worldwide home with you!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Typically we talk a little with potential adopters to find a cat who is a good fit before sharing the application.

2.

Approve Application

We check over the application including checking vet references and doing landlord checks.

3.

Interview

We spend more time chatting with the adopters to specifically go over any questions from the application and details about the specific cat.

4.

Meet the Pet

Potential adopters have a meet and greet with the cat or kitten in the foster home.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At the meet and greet, if all goes well, the adoption contract can be signed, the fee can be paid, and the pet can go home!

6.

Pay Fee

7.

Take the Pet Home

Additional adoption info

We try to do our best to make sure we find good fitting, responsible homes, without wasting a lot of our time. Our app has a lot of screening questions which help eliminate potential adopters who might not be serious (they usually just don't return the app), or not a good fit, which is why the in depth interview happens once the app is returned.

More about this rescue

We are a small but dedicated 501c3 nonprofit cat rescue specializing in making one person's garbage kitten another person's forever cat.

Our mission is to reduce feline suffering and overpopulation using a combination of TNR and adoptions. We foster and socialize whenever we have the resources to do so, including behavioral cats and kittens who might otherwise just be candidates for TNR.
