Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet this beautiful princess, Katherine. This regal and majestic looking tabby is looking for her Cinderella ending. Katherine and her sister, Sammie, who is also up for adoption, had a rough start and were rescued from a construction site in Harlem. When they were first rescued, they were both starving and scared. After being rescued, they have been shown love in their foster home, which has allowed them to flourish. Now, all Katherine (and Sammie!) are waiting for is their happily ever after.
Katherine is a very playful and spunky gal who may or may not have an addiction to catnip. Kat is definitely a self-starter and will play on her own when she's bored, but she is also very playful with the other cats in the household. Katherine may be might be a little bit shy at first, but appreciates affection, especially chin scratches, once you earn her trust. Katherine and her sister Sammie are both healthy, vaccinated and would love to have their forever home in time for the spooky season.

More about this rescue
We are a group of girls who rescue homeless and stray animals in the most dangerous areas of NYC (predominately Harlem and upper Manhattan). We work diligently to place them into loving forever homes. We are passionate about our work and do all that we can to save as many lives as possible. Each animal is fully vetted, vaccinated, tested for FIV/Felv, spayed/neutered and microchipped before being placed in a foster or forever home. We make sure each cat is matched into the most suitable home for him/her.
