Abel has been with us for 9 months and he is ready for his family! This goofy boy loves his shelter friends, but would love the stability of a home even more! He's currently competing for the most photogenic dog in the shelter! Abel likes to hop like a bunny when he's excited! His favorite skill to show off is SPIN!

The purpose of this application is to gather information about your home, pets, and general lifestyle to help our Match-Makers determine if the pet you wish to adopt is a good fit for both you and the pet.

CARE STL is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves as the established, No-Kill animal shelter for the City of St. Louis Animal Care and Control. We provide animal regulation services and help the city enforce Title 10 of the City of St. Louis Ordinance relevant to animal care and control; however, CARE STL also enforces and embraces the No-Kill equation and follows the guiding principles of no-kill shelters.
