Aesop has fully blossomed into a quintessential "Loverboy," ready to bring boundless affection into his forever home. This sweet dog adores companionship, greeting dogs of all sizes with tail-wags and enthusiasm. While he's still navigating the world and learning the joys of being a dog, his progress is remarkable, especially his near-perfect transition to house-training with minimal accidents. Aesop has proven himself to be incredibly trustworthy; he is non-destructive when left uncrated at home, instead channeling his playful energy into joyously destroying stuffed animals and delighting in bursts of "zoomies." He shows a unique comfort-seeking behavior by tenderly holding onto clothes or shoes belonging to his person, a gentle reminder of his strong bond. Although his past left him a little timid, he warms up quickly compared to many other rescue dogs, replacing fear with curiosity and a clear, heartfelt desire to be loved. Aesop would likely thrive in a home with another friendly dog and a patient adopter who will take the time to let him get comfortable, allowing this truly loving soul to share all the affection he has to give.
