This playful, active boy would love someone to take him home, even just for a break away from the shelter. He was left behind in a crate when his owners moved away, and he’s been through a lot. Despite that, he’s such a fun and happy dog who is sure to keep you laughing. Saylor is so goofy; he LOVES to swim and play with toys! He is very treat-motivated, walks great on a leash, and loves rolling around in the grass. He hasn’t had a chance to get away from the shelter yet, and he really needs a break. CARE STL welcomes adopters to either come by the shelter or fill out an adoption application online to save some time at the shelter. The purpose of this application is to gather information about your home, pets, and general lifestyle to help our Match-Makers determine if the pet you wish to adopt is a good fit for both you and the pet.

We provide animal regulation services and help the city enforce Title 10 of the City of St. Louis Ordinance relevant to animal care and control; however, CARE STL also enforces and embraces the No-Kill equation and follows the guiding principles of no-kill shelters.
