HISTORY:
Ms. Sprinkles came to us from an animal control facility where she was taken in as a stray.
ABOUT:
Ms. Sprinkles is a lovable little girl who lives for attention. She is sweet, easy going, smart, and active. She is estimated to be around 12/13 years old, but don’t let that fool you, as she is very energetic for her age. Ms. Sprinkles is gated in one room when no one is home and her foster had to add a second baby gate because she was able to climb over the first one. She loves to trot around the yard, but if you have a fenced yard it must be secure as she will look for any and all little spaces that she can wiggle through. She has no problem with the stairs to the backyard. Ms Sprinkles is good on leash, but if you give her too much leash she will zig and zag to take in all the sights and smells.
Ms. Sprinkles needed to have an eye removed and likely has decreased vision in the eye she does have. She gets along just fine, but she does startle easier. She is overall a quiet dog, but does bark a little when she is left at home alone. Ms. Sprinkles isn’t able to jump onto the furniture on her own and is content to nap in dog beds on the floor. She loves attention, so she would probably love to be lifted up onto the couch to snuggle with you.
Ms. Sprinkles is being fostered with both cats and dogs. She is not concerned with the cat in any way, and she has done great with the other dogs. She does like to snuggle with the other dogs at times, so any dogs she lives with will need to be comfortable with this. Ms. Sprinkles is not being fostered with children, but her foster home thinks she would do fine with older children who wouldn’t startle or overwhelm her.
Ms. Sprinkles is good about going potty outside as long as she has a routine, she will not ask if she has to go out, so you have to keep on top of the schedule for her.
