Meet Webster 💙 — Your Future Professional Lap Cat
Webster is a one-year-old sweetheart whose true calling in life is lap snuggling. And when we say this can’t be stressed enough… we really mean it. If you sit down, Webster will find you. He’s a total lap cat who lives for quiet companionship, gentle pets, and being close to his person. You can pet him anywhere—head, belly, paws—he’s here for all the affection.
When he’s not perfecting his snuggle skills, Webster enjoys batting around spring toys and stuffed toys, keeping playtime calm and adorable. He has a low-to-medium energy level and prefers a relaxed routine (bonus points if that routine includes Sheba wet food, his favorite).
Webster is a shy guy at first and needs a little time to feel safe, but once he trusts you, he blossoms into the most loving, devoted companion. Because of his sensitive nature, he would do best in a calm home with older, respectful children who understand gentle interactions.
He previously lived with other cats and would be happiest with fellow low-key, easygoing feline friends—or he’s perfectly content being your one-and-only. Either way, Webster is ready to offer unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a warm lap whenever you need it.

Lulu’s Locker Rescue is a nonprofit, volunteer-run companion animal rescue working to bring to light the plight of black cats and dogs in shelters as well as the misconceptions surrounding FIV cats. We aim to lower the euthanasia rate of these animals by educating the public and providing foster care as we seek out permanent homes. We are committed to the protection of the misjudged and wrongly stereotyped through compassion and respect, which we believe both animals and human beings deserve.
We are based out of Frankfort, IL, and rescue cats and dogs in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs.
