My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, everypawdy! My name is Grace. I'm a beautiful, loving soul who is looking for a family to call my own. I spent the majority of my early life in an animal testing laboratory-- did you know that dogs and cats are used as subjects in animal testing, too? Despite my painful past, I'm a sweet and happy girl now that I've been rescued by Beagle Freedom Project. I absolutely love people-- all I want is to cuddle together and play! Walks, runs, and hikes are a few of my favorite hobbies, too. More than anything, I'm hoping to find an affectionate adopter who will make me the apple of their eye, give me fun toys to play with, and all of the tasty treats I can dream of! I'm also a super smart girl, I even know how to sit when asked! I will be the most loyal companion and adventure buddy for my adopter, and they'll be so lucky to call me a part of their family! If you want a reason to smile every single day, then I am the pup for you!

🏡 My Home’s Requirements: Adults-only, single-animal household (I want to be the center of attention!)

📍 My Location: NOWATA, OK

Please note: Third-party sites like PetFinder or Adopt-a-Pet may sometimes list multiple locations for the same animal. My correct and current location is the one listed above!

Beagle Freedom Project facilitates out-of-state adoptions, provided the adopter can travel to the animal’s current location for pickup.

Additional adoption info

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION PROCESS: Standardly, Beagle Freedom Project does not facilitate animal meet and greets. Instead, we begin all BFP adoptions with a trial-period; this is called ‘fostering-to-adopt’. At BFP, we believe that the best way for an adopter to be certain that an animal is their perfect match is by giving them an opportunity to truly know each other before finalizing an adoption. As BFP animals come from such traumatic pasts, they can often be shy upon a first meeting. Foster-to-adopt trials allow these special animals an opportunity to decompress and show their authentic personality before an official adoption decision is made.
