Hi there, my name's Caesar and I'm the new golden bachelor around these parts. Don't let my greys fool you though, I'm still an active and outgoing guy who can keep up with the best of them and is super outgoing. I love making new friends and am always happy to meet new people. Even though I am a few years into this ride we call life I still have quite a lot of pep to my step so don't expect me to lie around all day, I still need my exercise. Because of my high energy and large build I would do best in a home with older children. I'd love a forever family of my own to spend the rest of my days with, showering in love and affection . So if you need a little extra love in your life, ask for Caesar at the front desk!

Caesar is a JOY to be with from first thing in the morning until saying pleasant dreams to him at night. I think he may think he's only about 9 months old as opposed to 9 years old. He has zest and appreciation for life. He is also housebroken ! Whoever does adopt this angel into their family will be most fortunate.

More about this shelter
The Maryland SPCA connects wonderful pets to loving owners. We are not affiliated with any national animal organization, and we do not receive any government or United Way funding. Our mission is to prevent cruelty and neglect of animals through fostering the humane relationship between animals and people. We operate primarily in the Greater Baltimore Metropolitan area.
To make sure that our dogs and cats do not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem, every one is spayed or neutered before going into a new home. The cost is included in the adoption fee, as are the costs of shots and other necessary care. In addition, a free Positive Pooch class is available to our dog adopters.
There is no set time limit for how long an animal can remain in our adoption program. As long as an animal maintains general good health and a sound temperament, we keep him or her until adopted. We pride ourselves on providing premium care to the animals in a clean, pleasant environment. Our adoption staff works diligently to pair up adopters with the best animal match for their homes and lifestyles.
We transport animals from other shelters to our adoption center to help more animals get adopted. We also help pet owners find new homes for their pets so their animals don’t need to enter shelter care.
