My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a new little best friend or dare we say, a new shadow? Then you have to check out our Friends litter. What's not to like about these cuties?

This litter of pups are mixed breed dogs that will likely be medium-sized when adults. Their mom, Phoebe, was in SOAR's care when she had these puppies and they've been enjoying lots of love and attention in their foster homes since then.

Fosters are working with the pups on crate and potty training. The perfect adopters will be excited about continuing their basic training as they grow. The pups love toys and being around other dogs, and they are adorably spunky and playful.

They are ready for their forever homes now and are vaccinated and microchipped. We will work with the adopters to coordinate spay/neuter locally so because of that, we will need to consider in-state adoptions (TN).

If you have other dogs at home, we will offer meet and greets with the pups to ensure everyone will get along. If these sound like the pups for you, please fill out our adoption application.

Apply here: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SFP-A-312

The Friends litter puppies have an adoption fee of $325 each.

Please note that we are a completely volunteer run organization and may take 48 hours to respond.

We can only set up meet and greets once an application has been filled out.

More about this rescue

We are a foster based animal rescue in the Nashville area.

Our mission is to work as a shelter diversion for animals who are facing homelessness, through no fault of their own. We provide vet care, a foster and adoption for animals belonging to owners who are homeless or living below the poverty level, where rehoming is their only option.

The majority of SOARescue animals come to us through our big sister organization SAFPAW (Southern Alliance for People and Animal Welfare).
If you would like to learn more about SAFPAW and their weekly spay/neuter transport, homeless outreach program and women's post recovery home, please visit their website at www.safpaw.org.

If SOARescue has the capacity to aid with other strays or owner surrenders, we will gladly do so. Our goal is to help relieve pressure on the over-burdened shelter system.
