This beautiful, brindle Boerboel is Spice! She's about 3 1/2 years old and Spice had it rough in the past. She ended up in the wrong homes twice, but that's all in the past and we're not going to let her down.....we have to find her the best home ever! She deserves it! Spice is all mastiff! She's going to protect you, she's going to lean on you, staring at your lovingly while practically knocking you over, and she may not like every stranger instantly but she does love people once she gets to know them. Spice is about 125 lbs. but she's actually very good on a leash, she loves car rides, swimming, even baths! She's playful and loves her toys, and she's well-mannered too. Spice is one-woman-show, meaning no other pets for her. She has never been properly housebroken but our staff is working diligently on this and will be happy to teach an adopter how to continue with her training and in an experienced home, she's going to learn in no time! We also require proof of home ownership if you own, or a copy of a lease stating that pets are allowed with no restrictions if you rent. We require vet records for any pets owned in the last five years as well. Our adoption fees vary based on age, breed, etc. Please call our facility for exact fee 609-693-1900.

The mission of the Associated Humane Societies, Inc., including Popcorn Park Zoo, is to consistently provide the highest quality of care to all animals, domestic and wildlife, including their rescue, housing, veterinary care, placement whenever possible, and when required, a peaceful end. It is also our mission to prevent cruelty to all animals, primarily in New Jersey, but also throughout the United States. This shall be done through direct intervention as well as the promotion of humane education regarding the proper care and treatment of animals at both public and private levels, thereby advancing the humane treatment of animals everywhere.
