Looking for a dog & cat friendly feline friend? you've found him!
Neeko is a handsome young adult cat who was rescued along with his mom Natalie and 2 other male siblings. We estimate the boys are 1 to 1.5yr old.
Neeko is full grown at a healthy and normal weight of 11-12 pounds. He is currently living in casa de ARWOB along with his brothers and several other ARWOB feline and canine friends.
Things to know about Neeko, he can nap and chill 20 hours a day and the rest of the hours he likes walking around the house monitoring the window observing the outside world. His feline hunter genes come out when the feather wand comes out. This kitty can go from the biggest couch potato to the most agil, HIGH jump Hunter. Him and his brothers are identical in that characteristic. They enjoy their toys especially if cat nip was sprinkled on them. His new family must have tall cat trees and lots of entertainment objects to keep them happy and healthy/fit.
like any healthy young boy if he smells or hears his food bowls he will dance and meow in excitement, the sun rising and falling is their perfect alarm clock of 'meal' time. Thankfully these boys aren't going to meow at the door for their meal, so you can have a good nights rest as they are well mannered in that respect. He is also an excellent litter box user, no matter what he never has had an accident outside his box nor is he a 'litter kicker'.
Neeko will always walk around you and try to stay close by but he is not bit on human touch. Hence, he gets bear hugged as often as possible. He is one of those kitties that acts like he hates being picked up and tries to scurry away BUT once you have him he enjoys the pets and belly rubbs by purring and relaxing but of course the minute he can he runs away and comes right back to tease you by rubbing around your legs until you try to grab him again and he power walks away..... if you love a 'playing hard to get' kitty like we do, then this is the little man for ya!
We think Neeko will improve in 'human affection' once he is in a home who gives him more attention without having to share it with the human and other foster siblings here. But if you are looking for a super loving affectionate kitty you can hug all day and have in your lap all day it won't be this handsome dude. You will certainly feel the companionship and enjoy the day with his funny antics.
PS- Neeko has the cutest tail curl and should be adopted into a home with another cat or very cat friendly dog who enjoys playing with a cat friend (or adopt one of his brothers too! Newt or Neo who enjoy being held and seek being petted to get a balance on the loving :)

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
