PUMA UPDATE 10.25.23:

Uh la la!  This Beauty has been with Animal Rescuers Without Borders (ARWOB) for more than a year now. At headquarters she shared the home with many differnt age/sex fellow foster feline friends and dogs.

Thankfully she and Natalie lucked out and escaped Casa de ARWOB on 10/15 to finally go into an actual foster home of their own.  We received the most amazing update, which nailed how to describe Puma to a T!!!' She is absolutely a lover, not a fighter and a 'chllled' sweetie pie! :)

Here is what her foster mama has to say about Puma:

Puma is soft-spoken, yet incredibly sweet. She's a cat who prefers to quietly observe the world from her tower or her cozy bed. You'll often find her in her contemplative moments, taking in the world around her. Puma may be the quieter of the two, but her sweetness knows no bounds. Once she's comfortable with you, she's all in for endless chin scratches and gentle pets all over her body. She'll cherish those moments of affection and reciprocate in her own unique way.

Playtime is another one of Puma's delights. She loves her tunnel, enjoys scratching away on her cardboard scratcher, and will eagerly chase feather wands. Her playful spirit shines through, proving that she's more than just a calm observer.

Puma values her personal space and would most likely be happiest in a one-cat household. While she enjoys her independence, when she seeks attention, she's not shy about letting you know. Yet, don't hesitate to offer your affection, as she's never one to refuse it.

Overall, Puma is a loving and gentle soul waiting for the perfect home. Her quiet nature, affectionate disposition, and playful side make her a unique and wonderful companion. If you're looking for a one-on-one connection with a cat who appreciates your love and offers it in return, Puma is the ideal choice.

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
