My story

Tiger Lily and Smokey were found hanging out in a backyard in East County.  The homeowners were feeding them and noticed they were social and friendly so they reached out to local rescues for help.  We are not sure if they are sisters but they do enjoy each others company. They were initially shy when meeting new people, but became much more social with our volunteers when they were initially in our cat adoption center. Smokey is playful and both she and Tiger Lily are very sweet and enjoy sitting on laps! They have bcome best friends and you can see a picture of them together on a cat tree.

Tiger Lily and Smokey are NOT considered a bonded pair who have to be adoted together altough they do enjoy being friends and spending time with each other.. They can co-exist with other cats or be in a home as a solo cat as long as the humans give them plenty of love and affection. They have been in a foster home with dogs and a home with a respectuful dog who likes cats should be fine since they tend to be timid with new environments. They also have not met any young children but, given their sweet and affectionate personalities, we expect they would love respectful kids who can shower them with love and affection.

Please submit an adoption application online at arwob.org if you would like to adopt either or both of these sweet gals!

More about this rescue

The A.R.W.O.B. group is based in San Diego, CA and operates mostly in Mexico as well as Southern California and will come to the aid of any animal in need which crosses our path. Our belief is to do what we can in order to “Make a difference in their lives.” From experience we have observed and feel the companion animals of Mexico are in the greatest need and accordingly we focus much of our efforts in Baja, Mexico. However, we certainly extend our help to our north of the border critters by accepting relinquished family pets, exiting both dogs and cats from the shelters of San Diego and of course by working in conjunction with other animal rescue groups in the community
