Meet Pilar!

Pilar was entrusted to our care through our Final Wish Program after her owner passed away. She is 14 years old and weighs 77 lbs. She is very sweet, gentle, and great with other dogs, which makes her a perfect fit in our lobby as a greeter to volunteers and visitors, along with several other Frosted Faces. Pilar appreciates big comfy dog beds, being petted, and going for leisurely paced walks. She gives gentle kisses as thanks.

Pilar went on a two-week Frosted Fling, so we could learn more about her in a home setting, and she earned rave reviews! Her Fling Family reported:

"We just adore Pilar!
She is great with people of all ages.
She loves scratches behind the ears.
She is house-trained.
She is great with our other dogs - a German Shepherd and our tiny Chihuahua!
Her hearing is not the best, so she uses her nose and her eyes.
We had a party at our house this weekend, and she handled 30 people like a pro. And took full advantage to get lots of petting.
We hope a family considers this sweet girl. She is mellow, agreeable, and a joy to be around!"

We require that interested applicants fill out our application. A screener follows up via email to schedule a home inspection, meanwhile calling references.

Upon approval, it is required you come to Frosted Faces Foundation with all members of the family and your dogs to choose a Frosted Face.
