Tulip is now available for adoption! This sweet girl was found a week after the group of 4 from Big Lots was discovered, but she seems to have many of the same characteristics. She is under a year old, and definitely alllllll puppy. We are looking for an active adopter who has another dog that loves to play. Puppy patience is a must! Tulip is learning to be less mouthy, and is still working on potty training but has improved a lot. She would be best in a home without small children due to her mouthiness.

She is very sweet and doesn't know a stranger! Tulip currently lives with other dogs and has been around cats in temporary foster homes. She does try to chase, but is non-aggressive, so a home with dog-savvy cats may be ok.
Tulip is currently 30 lbs and is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm negative, and on heartgard

Additional adoption info

All of our dogs and cats are fully vetted prior to adoption - spayed/neutered, microchipped, flea treated, dewormed, vaccinated and tested for heartworm (dogs) or FIV/FeLV (cats).

To adopt an animal from us, you will be required to complete an adoption application. When your completed application is returned to us, we will conduct a criminal background check, verify home ownership or landlord permission, check with any veterinary references and conduct a home check. Then pay adoption fee.

Please note that our adoption contract for cats has a NO DECLAW clause.

More about this rescue

We are a small non-profit rescue focused on the 4.77 square mile town of Speedway, Indiana, home of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Our goal is to make Speedway a no-kill town where every animal is spayed/neutered, microchipped and properly cared for. We rescue all animals taken to the town's Animal Control facility. We assist owners in need with veterinary care and food/supplies. We help trap-neuter-release feral cat colonies and socialize/adopt kittens under 3 months old.

Due to limited resources, we are unable to accept animals from outside the town's boundaries at this time.
