Mona Lisa is a 9-year-old shepsky lady, looking to find a forever family of his own. Boy is this girl sweet! Mona Lisa loves everybody she meets and has even lived with and done well with young kids too. She can be a little bit of a dramatic girl, especially if you're not quick enough with throwing the ball, she'll give you some husky "woos. But she loves a good game a fetch.
Being a shepherd mix lady, she can be a bit vocal when seeing new dogs, so may need a slower introduction to appropriately make friends. She would prefer a home with no cat or small animal friends, they can be really tempting to chase and bother.

We ask that anyone in need of surrendering an animal call for an appointment. Our name reflects our geographic service area, not a governmental body. We are a nonprofit agency dependent on private donations and are not supported by tax dollars. As a "special admission" shelter we accept all animals in need, but we do utilize an appointment policy to ensure there is space for all incoming animals. Thanks to a dedicated and caring staff and volunteers, and the monetary contributions of so many compassionate individuals and businesses in our community, we offer our animals the best of care as they await their new forever home.
