Tangelo is a precious little lady of just 7 months old that could really use your help! She was rescued from an outdoor situation where she never had much interaction with people. This poor little kitten was starting from scratch when she arrived and she's been slowly learning that she's safe and it's ok to let her little guard down. She likes people just fine, she's just so inexperienced with interacting with everyone. The best thing for little Tangelo is lots of one-on-one time in a patient, experienced, loving home and we're sure that she'll come out of her shell and never look back! Tangelo is good with other cats and a home with a confident and friendly cat will help her so much in her transition into home-life. Tangelo is available for foster or adoption. We require a completed adoption application which can be obtained at our facility, or from our website: www.ahscares.org. We also require proof of home ownership if you own, or a copy of a lease stating that pets are allowed with no restrictions if you rent. We require vet records for any pets owned in the last five years as well. Our adoption fees vary based on age, breed, etc. Please call our facility for exact fee 609-693-1900.

More about this shelter

The mission of the Associated Humane Societies, Inc., including Popcorn Park Zoo, is to consistently provide the highest quality of care to all animals, domestic and wildlife, including their rescue, housing, veterinary care, placement whenever possible, and when required, a peaceful end. It is also our mission to prevent cruelty to all animals, primarily in New Jersey, but also throughout the United States. This shall be done through direct intervention as well as the promotion of humane education regarding the proper care and treatment of animals at both public and private levels, thereby advancing the humane treatment of animals everywhere.
