Luna Lu is a pretty little kitty of about 3 years old that is looking forward to starting over. She was turned in due to someone in her home becoming allergic to her. Luna Lu is happy to put her past behind her and move on, and she's happy to make new friends. Luna is a super sweet, loving little cat that soaks up every bit of attention you give her. She'll be all smushy-mushy, purring away when suddenly, she hears a loud noise and she can get a little freaked out by it and may actually think it's your fault and give you a smack & thwack! She doesn't mean any harm, she's just a little nervous. A quiet, commotion-free home with no young kids is best but she's open to living with an easy-going feline friend. We require a completed adoption application which can be obtained at our facility, or from our website: www.ahscares.org. We also require proof of home ownership if you own, or a copy of a lease stating that pets are allowed with no restrictions if you rent. We require vet records for any pets owned in the last five years as well. Our adoption fees vary based on age, breed, etc. Please call our facility for exact fee 609-693-1900.

The mission of the Associated Humane Societies, Inc., including Popcorn Park Zoo, is to consistently provide the highest quality of care to all animals, domestic and wildlife, including their rescue, housing, veterinary care, placement whenever possible, and when required, a peaceful end. It is also our mission to prevent cruelty to all animals, primarily in New Jersey, but also throughout the United States. This shall be done through direct intervention as well as the promotion of humane education regarding the proper care and treatment of animals at both public and private levels, thereby advancing the humane treatment of animals everywhere.
