My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, my name is Cocoa Puffs and I have a sad story to tell. I was part of a hoarding situation in southern NJ, and I was brought to the local shelter where I sat for 1 year waiting for someone to adopt me. Unfortunately, that day never came, and rescue placement was sought.

I am so much happier and livelier now that I am out of the shelter and have some space to run and play. I am currently a bit overweight as I was never able to exercise before, but my foster mom is working with me daily to drop some lbs and increase my play time. I am a beautiful Californian mix and perfectly litterbox trained. I weigh about 7 lbs but she be a bit smaller than that. I am neutered and vaccinated against RHDV. I may a good bonding candidate as that would allow me to grow my confidence so any spayed females searching for a friend, please let me know!!!

I am eating a proper diet now of timothy pellets, timothy hay and my daily salad of leafy greens. Greens are my absolute favorite and I run to eat them daily. I also love my treats so please do not forget them!!

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a sweet guy like me?

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
