My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Blue is a pug/chi mix born 2/2023. He is neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines & microchipped. He weighs around 15lbs.

Blue came to us as an owner surrender. He is pretty shy at first, but once you give him that first pet, he is all about you! He loves being held & getting attention from his people. He gets along with other dogs & all sized humans. He has been around cats. He has never been on a leash/harness & will need continued potty training. He is crate trained & finds comfort in it. He is a sweet boy with playful energy, he just needs time to warm up to new people, environments & learn to trust!

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com & you will be contacted within 48hrs if your application fits his current needs.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
