Hi, I'm Cutlass! I'm a puppy that grew up in rescue. I'd really like to find my forever family. Is that you?

You:

- Are patient, kind, and willing to work with a genetically shy/fearful dog. And won't go claiming "I'm an abused rescue", just to make excuses, cause I'm not!
- Love to train, learn new things, and want to help me work on my confidence building!
- Have a quieter household, with not too many comings and goings.
- Love the outdoors and spending time in nature.
- Will take the time to meet me a few times, so I become comfortable with you, before going home.
- Maybe have an existing confident, neutral dog for me to learn from.

Me:

- Am a water lover! I am always first in out of all my siblings.
- Love my ball! We could play together?
- Love hiking and outdoor adventures.
- Can be a little guardy about my personal space with other dogs, but as long as boundaries are respected, I get along with most everyone! I do not do well with rude dogs.
- Love to hang and snug with my foster mom!
- I try to be very clean, and am excellent in my crate. I travel well in the car too!
- I haven't met a cat, but should be fine with proper training. Both my adopted siblings live with cats!
- Kids that are clam, and respect boundaries well could becime my new best friends!

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

Dogs are placed based on best match only. A pre-application questionnaire is sent to all inquiries before discussing individual dogs.

2.

An email interview follows up the pre-application questionnaire.

3.

Home Check

If the interview is a successful match, the next step is a home visit by a volunteer to further discuss any potential matches.

4.

Meet the Pet

The meet and greet is the final step once all other steps have been cleared.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

If the meet & greet goes well the adoption contract is signed. All adopted dogs must attend formal dog training within 2 weeks of adoption.
