Meet Rocky Roux!

Rocky Roux was surrendered by his owner to Palmdale Shelter, and we scooped him up on March 5th to become a Frosted Face. He is 13 years old and weighs 85 lbs. Rocky Roux is very friendly and gentle, and he loves to be petted. One of our volunteers nicknamed him the "master of chill."

Rocky Roux went on a two-week Frosted Fling, and he loved being in a home again, getting extra belly rubs and napping in soft, cozy beds. He earned praise from his Fling Mom for being a very well-behaved, low-maintenance houseguest and joy to have around. She shared the following about him:

-Loves chicken
-Is potty trained & had zero accidents in the house!
-Loves going on walks around the neighborhood
-He can be playful, but is also mellow and enjoys naps
-Is super friendly and affectionate towards everyone
-Loves being loved on & being pet

At 13 years old, Rocky Roux has some difficulty walking on hardwood floors & is unable to go up stairs, so he would do best in a one-story home with carpeting. However, his spirit is younger than his body, and he's still a happy, playful, and loving boy who just wants a home of his own!

Rocky Roux enjoys going for walks and especially likes being in play groups with our female Frosted Faces, including Fanny, as you can see in the video. Rocky Roux is a ladies' man!

We require that interested applicants fill out our application. A screener follows up via email to schedule a home inspection, meanwhile calling references.

Upon approval, it is required you come to Frosted Faces Foundation with all members of the family and your dogs to choose a Frosted Face.
