My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bargain Buster!

Bargain Buster was surrendered to the Lancaster-Palmdale shelter because his family was moving. Although he did great with other dogs in his kennel and play yard, Buster was scheduled to be euthanized due to overcrowding at the shelter.

Fortunately, several adoptions opened up space for Bargain Buster to become a Frosted Face on May 8th! He is 9 years old and weighs 68 lbs. He is as sweet as he is handsome!

A volunteer took Bargain Buster on a solo outing to local parks for an afternoon and shared what she learned about him:

"We walked around Collier County Park, cooled down at Main Street Coffee, then took another quick walk around Ramona Oaks Park.

No issues getting his leash on/off, and he can get into and out of the car by himself.

A little bit of leash pulling but very, very manageable. Honestly, I think he was just excited to be out and about.

Much more interested in exploring/ sniffing around. We ran into other dogs at Main Street Coffee, but he was not interested, and they walked by each other with no issues or reactivity.

He not go out of the way to say hi to people/kids but welcomed pets if they approached him. Those who came up to him remarked how handsome and sweet he is.

Offered him a pup cup but he was not interested. Does take treats gently (I had some chicken flavored soft chews).

Gladly dipped his paws into and enjoyed the small but cooling creek at Ramona Oaks Park.

No other dogs in either of the off leash areas at Ramona Oaks so we spent time in both. I threw a tennis ball around, but he was only mildly interested. He preferred to sniff!

Bargain Buster is a very sweet guy and acts younger than his years!"

On top of all those great qualities, he passed his cat test with flying colors, as you can see in the video!
