My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Atlas is a male terrier mix. He is neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines & microchipped. He weighs around 30lbs currently & could stand to lose a few pounds!

Atlas was found as a stray & no one ever came forward for him. He is very shy at first when meeting new people. He gives gentle kisses & nose bumps. He would like to be your shadow & follow you on your daily activities throughout your home. He is observant & curious. He takes treats nicely. He coexists with other dogs but doesn't have any interest in playing with them. He enjoys a comfy bed or blanket to sleep on but we're sure he'd love a spot in your bed. He gets along with all sized humans once he's comfortable. He would enjoy a low-traffic home with a secured yard to potty & relax in.

He will consistent grooming, every 6-8 weeks.

Please complete an adoption application at www.pathwaysforpaws.com & you will be contacted within 48hrs if your application fits his current needs.

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
