My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

What my friends at ACC say about me:

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!

Not only do I pull at heart strings, but I also pull on leash! I will need someone to help me with my leash manners.

I don't always like to share my food, toys or bedding with other animals.

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.

A Volunteer Writes: We all have those dogs who make our hearts so full when we're with them, and then actually hurt when we leave them behind in the shelter. Which is why, from our hearts to yours, we are begging you to come meet Buddy, who may very well be a perfect dog. For real! He's such a gentleman, hanging out in his kennel calmly, regardless of who is passing and how much noise they're making. He's so grateful when it's his turn (he appears oh-so-housetrained) and walks so nicely on a leash. He's not bothered by a cat hissing at him or a dog staring him down on the street, but he will give you his fullest attention as he sits for treats, leans in for snuggles, and gets as close as he possible can to share his love. It's impossible not to fall for this sweet soul, if only you will come meet him in person!
