My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is the sweetest dog. She loves to cuddle and be close to her humans. Daisy is excellent with small children, and knows how to play gentle. (currently living with a 1 year, 5 & 6 year old) She loves to meet new people and is very affectionate. Daisy is also great with cats. She can be dog selective, and would need a slow introduction. She does not do well with other dominate dogs. Her favourite pass time is sleeping on the couch. She enjoys being outside in ALL weather and loves running around or simply just laying on the grass chewing on a dog toy while her humans play around her. Daisy understands basic commands and is still very eager to learn new things. In our care she has learned to shake a paw for treats which she is highly motivated by. She is fully house trained and stays out of trouble when left alone at home. Daisy dislikes thunderstorms but is otherwise unbothered by loud noises.

Submit Application

Approve Application

After a telephone conversation and character reference checks you may meet the animal at its foster home or an agreed upon location.

3.
Meet the Pet

For cats, you may be pre-approved to adopt at the first meeting. For dogs, we require a first meeting before an adoption can be finalized.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption Agreements are sent out by email for electronic signature. It is very convenient!

5.
Pay Fee

Fee payments can be made by e-transfer or by cash or cheque at the time of adoption.

6.
Take the Pet Home

There is a two-week trial adoption period in which a full refund of the adoption fee is offered if it is not a good match.
