Hello! I’m Maliki Chibul and I’m one hot mess. Typical story here adopted as a puppy and returned when I became a misunderstood, out of control adult. I’m a herding breed mix with herding breed instincts. I’m mouthy, bark obsessively, and can top the charts in whining.
What I love to do in my foster home is play with the resident dog who happens to be my litter mate. He’s teaching me how to dog as I lack confidence. Truth be told, I’m almost scared of my own shadow. I don’t know if it’s okay to meet new people, new dogs, and don’t get me started on new situations, because they confound me. With a calm dog by my side, I’m learning to greet new people and situations without growling and being afraid. Once I’m comfortable with you I’ll jump on you and I’ll hold your arm in my mouth. Children, well, I love to lick them in the face. Cats, on the other hand, I want to play with them especially if they are indoor cats.
What I need:
Someone who doesn’t mind me getting into their socks especially the dirty ones.
Someone to let me carry stuffies around, monitor me with them, and sew them back together again.
Someone to help me build my confidence so I don’t submissively potty and stress eliminate.
A calm dog to teach me how to be a confident pleasant dog.
An owner who is dedicated and willing to spend the time and effort on me.

Adoption fees for cats/kittens are $130.00. All cats/kittens have been wormed, altered, tested for feline leukemia, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
Adoption fees for dogs/puppies are $300.00 All dogs/puppies have been wormed, altered, tested for heart worm, given age-appropriate vaccinations, and are microchipped.
We also offer our Senior for Senior program matching senior animals to people over the age of 63. Adoption fees are waived for this program.

Based in Rochester MN, the organization is totally driven by volunteers.
Camp Companion is dedicated to providing low-cost spay and neuter services for feral, farm and stray companion animals. The organization is funded solely by donations, fundraisers, grants, and adoption fees. All funds we receive are used for veterinary expenses and the cost of care incurred for the animals waiting for their forever homes.
Through our spay / neuter efforts, we encounter kittens and stray domestic cats that need rescue services and a forever home. We have no shelter, but rely on foster homes to care for these rescued pets. Every animal we offer for adoption is spayed or neutered.
