My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Charlie is a very handsome 6-year-old beagle boy searching for his forever home. He loves his humans
and enjoys getting attention from his foster mom.
He is housetrained, loves car rides, potties in his fenced yard and during his walks. He follows the lead
from the other dogs in his foster home.
During walks he is very curious about any wildlife smells. He has a high prey drive and will try to climb
over the fence. Charlie’s new home will require a very secure fence and close supervision when in the
yard.
Charlie would do best in a home where he is the only dog. Because of his high prey drive, he will need a
home with no cats.
Charlie is a very loving medium energy dog and will make the perfect addition for the right home.
Contact your Midwest BREW adoption counselor if you would like to know more about Charlie.
NOTE: Dog may be located in any of our six volunteer states (WI, IL, IN, OH, PA, MI).

More about this rescue

Midwest Beagle Rescue, Education and Welfare, Inc is a 501(c)3 non profit, all-volunteer organization located in the Midwest, funded by donations and dedicated to rescuing beagles from high-kill shelters. Our foster homes provide loving temporary care until we are able to find them well matched, carefully screened forever homes. By working with local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities we are able to give proper medical care to the beagles in our program. We also serve as a resource to our community and all pet owners by providing education and information on responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition. We adopt beagles to families within Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, western Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and have also placed beagles into loving homes in Minnesota, Iowa, and Missouri.
