Brooklyn has come a LONG way! She is a very sweet, shy, docile kitten who has grown to love attention. However, she would much rather come to you when she is ready for pets and scratches, than you go to her.
It may take her a while to adapt to her new surroundings so she would definitely do best in a home with a resident cat who can show her how good life can be…because when Brooklyn sees other kitties getting attention and chin scratches, her FOMO kicks in (fear of missing out) and she wants to be a part of what the other kitties are getting! Once she feels comfortable though, she will snuggle up right by your side and even fall asleep on your tummy.
Brooklyn’s favorite things are wet food, long naps and bird watching in the evenings. She has a beautiful silky soft coat and gorgeous blue eyes.
This girl is sooo deserving of love, but she needs a very patient person(s) who will give her time to come out of her shell and someone who can see her true inner love-bug self! This girl will blossom with the right people in her corner!
Brooklyn does great with a cat-friendly dog but would do best in a home with no small children (toddler age).
Brooklyn is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect.
She currently lives with her foster family in West Sacramento.
