My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

It's easy to see how Cinnamon got her name! She is a perfect cinnamon color with a white bib, white front paws, and unique facial markings. And Cinnamon is as sweet as she is beautiful. She is a petite young gal, still kittenish enough to play if encouraged. She will be curious about new surroundings, but adaptable. Cinnamon has not been around dogs, as far as we know. She was picked up as a stray, but a friendly one, who just needs some love and a forever home to flourish. She will love you forever.

All of our dogs, cats, rabbits & ferrets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Small animals are usually not altered. We have adoption applications, a short interview process, and an adoption fee for each animal. All animals (except rabbits & small animals) are up to date on all shots.

We hold adoption events on Saturdays at Petsmart in Mishawaka from 11-3. We also hold other events throughout the year. Company Overview
Heartland Small Animal Rescue Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization serving South Bend, IN and surrounding towns by taking in homeless pets and adopting them out into loving homes. We also work closely with local shelters to reduce euthanasia rates by pulling animals and putting them in our program.
