My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello there! My name is Orville, formerly known as Oreo, but the shelter decided to give me a snazzy new name to match my unique personality. I'm a sprightly young pup, just about a year old, full of energy and curiosity.

You see, I had a bit of a rough start in life. My previous owner struggled to keep me contained in the yard because, truth be told, the fence was in pretty shabby shape. With so many enticing escape routes, I couldn't resist exploring beyond the confines of my home. Eventually, my escapades led me dangerously close to a busy highway, prompting my owner to make the tough decision to surrender me to the shelter in hopes of finding me a new home with a sturdy fence.

But don't let my past escapades fool you - I'm a good boy through and through. I'm up to date on all my vaccines, though my heartworm status is still unknown. However, I'm scheduled to be neutered soon, which will not only help control my wandering tendencies but also contribute to my overall health and well-being.

Despite my rocky start, I'm a remarkably intelligent and trainable pup. I listen attentively to commands and am eager to please. I may have come from a less-than-ideal situation, but I'm still overflowing with love and happiness. I get along famously with dogs, kids, and adults alike - I'm just a big bundle of canine joy waiting to brighten someone's day.

Oh, did I mention that I'm a Border Collie? That's right - I'm not just any ol' dog; I'm a wonderful, spirited Border Collie ready to embark on new adventures with my forever family. So, if you're in the market for a loyal companion who's as smart as he is lovable, look no further - I'm your guy, Orville!
