My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Donovan. He’s Angel’s best friend, though we think he’s slightly younger. He was rescued from a shelter that was going to put him down. He came with some broken ribs as well, so it’s obvious that he was attacked by another dog in the past. He is a bundle of nonstop energy, constantly playing with his friend or asking for pets. When someone comes to visit, it’s difficult to give him pets because he’s zooming all over the place from excitement. He also seems to have little experience being outdoors, so he often freezes up when taken outside. Donovan is a darker gray color and probably part Chihuahua due to his smaller size. Ideally, someone adopts him and Angel together!

Interview

Once we have received your application, a team member will contact you to discuss your adoption inquiry and desired pet!

3.
Meet the Pet

An arrangement is made with you to meet the adoptable rescue, followed by home visit. During the visit, we'll discuss tips for rescue pets.

4.
Approve Application

A team member will contact you upon adoption approval and send our adoption contract along.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

All adoptions are made official with a signed contract & donation fee.

6.
Home Check

We'll work with you to arrange the pick up or drop off of your new furry best friend!

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process was designed to help ensure that we select the best homes for our animals.

Adoption Fees to Support Our Non-Profit Rescue:
Puppies (under 12 months) - $350
Adult dogs (over 12 months) - $275
Kittens (under 12 months) - $175
2 kittens (because 2 are better than 1 :) - $300
Adult cats (over 12 months) - $150

The adoption donation helps to offset part of the veterinary care and temporary boarding costs of the adopted pet.

Any additional donation is greatly appreciated and will hep us to continue our lifesaving work!
