My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You'll just want to hug sweet, ol' Stache when you hear him howling, or limping outside for a walk. We're told he's around 9 but obviously, he could be older. Stache was abandoned at a local convenience store along with another younger dog, when his owner was passing through NJ. Stache's young friend is still being treated for a cold but Stache would just love to get himself into a home like, now! Stache is on the thin, neglected side. He's missing several teeth and his skin is in rough shape. We have him on lots of good meds so he's feeling better already! He'll need to continue with his meds until his skin is all cleared up, and he'll need to stay on joint supplements for his arthritis indefinitely. The perfect home for Stache is one with no young kids or lots of commotion. He just wants to sprawl out and relax! Stache is good with other easy going dogs but he'll need a cat-free home, and he's a sweet, well-mannered, gentle guy. He sure hopes you'll give him a chance! Call 609-693-1900 or email office@ahsppz.org for an application.
