We can't believe Ladybelle is still looking for a forever home after all these years! We've known Ladybelle since she came to us in 2019 as a stray from our Newark shelter. Ladybelle has had some bad luck and has been adopted and returned a few times over the years. We've stated the reasons many times in the past so we're not going to re-visit it but please know- Ladybelle never did anything wrong. She's about 8 1/2 years old now and Ladybelle resides in our Animal Haven area where she has a huge yard and lots of friends, but still, it's not a home, and she would absolutely LOVE a great home already. Ladybelle is a fun-loving, happy, well-behaved girl that's great on a leash, housebroken, playful, affectionate, and so very sweet. She needs a cat-free home and can be fussy with some dogs so she can meet a dog her size and we'll see how it goes. Ladybelle is so deserving of a great home, please give her a chance! Call 609-693-1900 or email: office@ahsppz.org for an application. File#40470 10/23/22

More about this shelter
The Associated Humane Societies rescues stray and homeless animals, both domestic and wildlife, providing quality care and sanctuary until loving homes can be found. As a community-based organization, we provide low-cost veterinary care and humane education to promote responsible pet guardianship throughout New Jersey.
For over a century we have offered a haven to abused and neglected animals. Founded in 1906, AHS is the largest animal sheltering system in New Jersey, operating three shelters located in Newark, Forked River, and Tinton Falls. Our Forked River facility also includes Popcorn Park. Established in 1977, Popcorn Park is a sanctuary for abandoned, injured, ill, exploited, abused or elderly wildlife, exotic and farm animals, and birds.
The Society is a not for profit, 501(c)3 organization and we take pride in our devotion to the thousands of animals that come through our doors looking for a better life.
