My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boe, a delightful one-year-old spayed female mixed breed, tipping the scales at around 55lbs.

Boe's health is top-notch, with up-to-date vaccines and monthly parasite prevention, but she needs an adopter who will commit to maintaining her well-being with routine veterinary care throughout her life.

Boe is a charmer with her brindle fur and a heart that's as big as her playful spirit. She's a social butterfly who adores making new furry friends after a slow and steady introduction, happily engaging in playtime with dogs and cats alike.

Outdoor adventures are her jam, and she thrives in the fresh air. Boe is also fond of children but appreciates folks who can understand her cues and respect her boundaries. Her loving nature and laid-back attitude make her an ideal companion for any household, spreading happiness wherever she goes. While Boe is making strides in house training at her foster home, adjusting to a new routine may take time.

Being still in her puppy days, she craves mental stimulation and positive reinforcement training, along with plenty of walks and interactive activities to keep her busy and content. If you're seeking a loyal, affectionate, and active furry friend, Boe might just be the perfect match for your family.

Additional adoption info

Adoption Process
We have an open adoption policy, so there is no application or interview process. We simply ask that you meet the pet in person before adoption. We have adoption specialists that will help you find the right pet for your family.

Adoption Center
The Adoption Center is located at 7500 N. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Our Adoption Center is a totally new concept in Oklahoma City where dogs have comfortable, expanded kennels and cats stay in “living rooms” with furniture and toys.

Pets by Appointment
Some amazing dogs get stressed out in a kennel environment like our Adoption Center, and much prefer staying at their foster home until they find their new family. If you see a dog on our website that says “E-Mail to Meet Me” that means that this furry friend is just a click away from getting a ride to the Adoption Center to meet you in person.

Adoption Fees
Adult dogs are $150 to adopt, puppies are $200 to adopt, adult cats are $75 to adopt and kittens are $95 to adopt. All of our pets are microchipped, spayed or neutered, treated with all age-appropriate vaccinations and flea, tick, and heartworm preventative prior to being cleared for adoption, so we put a lot of effort and monetary investment into each of our animals including a two-week quarantine period in a foster home. These adoption fees help cover the costs of our animals’ health and well-being!
