Melanie was born on 4-28-23, a rotti/lab mix. Sweet and happy girl and good with kids amd dogs. She is high energy and need exercise and a fenced yard to curb her enthusiasm! She is in need of some obedience training, but is food-motivated, eager to please and quick to learn with the right discipline.
She is a happy-go-lucky girl and just wants as much attention as she can get! She would make a loyal companion for an active family and/or a family with another larger dog to zoomie with!
WE ONLY ADOPT LOCALLY WITHIN A 2 HOUR RADIUS OF THE TRICOUNTY AREA. ***Exceptions may be made for seniors or hard to place dogs.
If the animal is under the age of 3 years old or has health issues, a vet reference is required which means you must own a pet or have owned a pet in your name.
Adoption fee of $315 covers all vetting including spay/neuter surgery, vaccines, microchip heartworm test and treatment if needed and any other medical that may be required while in rescue.
We only do adoptions on Saturday and not all animals are able to attend so if you would like to see a specific animal please let us know so that we can make arrangements for it to be present at the event. Event locations do vary so please check the homepage to find out where we will be this week. Please do not ask us to reduce adoption fees since all fees help us to cover medical expenses for all of our animals, some of which can be very expensive. Saving lives is not cheap so thank you for your understanding and helping us save as many as possible.

We were founded in 2002. We are all volunteers and we have no physical facility. All animals stay in their foster homes until they are adopted.
