"A dog is all heart." That makes us think of precious Harriet!
Harriet is absolutely adorable! She is ten months old and weighs 23 pounds. Harriet is so pretty with her brindle and white coat.
Lucky Harriet was recently fostered by two of our dedicated volunteers who report: "Harriet continues to do well. She has not had any accidents in the car, crate or inside our home. Harriet runs to me when I call her name. She loves to run and play in our yard. Harriet gets along very well with our dogs. She is very bright."
Harriet came from a property with several other dogs, so she would love to have a canine companion for company in her new home.
Harriet is now back at the shelter. She is learning to walk on a leash and enjoys daily outings in the fenced yard.
We enjoy sitting quietly with Harriet to pet and encourage her and help her feel secure. Once she gains confidence, we believe Harriet will blossom!
Harriet has the best time in play groups with her follow shelter companions, and we love seeing her have so much fun.
With time and patience, we think she will be such a loyal and devoted companion!
Her mother Essie is also available for adoption.
E-mail ccacangels@yahoo.com for more information!
Please come visit! We are open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
