My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

This tiny house panther is Inky Too!  She has a little healed owie in her eye but its ok she's still a happy go lucky little sprite!  Her eye is actually what probably saved her and is the reason she is now looking for an indoor home.  Inky Too was part of a large colony of cats that were being TNR'd.  She was little and had an injured eye so the colony care taker brought her in to treat the eye and after some time little Inky Too decided that inside was where she wanted to stay.  She is at the shelter now and is enjoying her time with the other cats in her room.  She particularly enjoys playing and snuggling with Cash who was also in the same home prior to joining the shelter.  These two young cats have formed a friendship and would make a great duo to just about any home.  Inky Too is a small built girl and was likely born March of 2023.  She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative and microchipped. Check out her short video on AdoptaPet.com and see her loving to be loved on!

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
