My goodness her little white goatee just speaks to my soul. Shirley is an 8 year old Maltese mix. She joined MHCR with, you guessed it, Laverne! They came from a local CO shelter after being surrendered in a large group of dogs. The shelter life was a bit stressful for them, so we scooped em up and over to MHCR they came. Shirley is a sensitive sweetheart. She’s a little timid and takes a bit to warm up. For this reason, we suspect she will do well in a quieter household with other dog friends to keep her company. She’s house trained and crate trained and doesn’t get into things free roam. Shirley is seeking a home with a securely fenced in yard and not a lot of hustle and bustle, but PLENTY of snuggles.
Shirley is in foster in Loveland, Colorado.
*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. *
