This stunning boy came to AFRP from Hitchcock Road Animal Services where he was previously adopted and returned after his owners could no longer care for him.
Aspen is a quite an affectionate boy and would love to find adopters that can provide him space and time to warm up to them! During his time at Hitchcock, he was a staff favorite and most notably a very social kitty! He has a wonderful purr that he uses often. He's very friendly once he warms up to his humans, but may need some extra time given his timid behavior. Aspen is a solid napper who plays like a little kitten with soft stuffed, hard plastic, and ping pong balls. Little toy mice must fear him!
Aspen would do best in a home with adult adopters at this time, or with families who have children over the age of 15. It is unknown how he will do with cats and dogs, but any resident animals in the homes should be introduced to him slowly and over a gradual period of time. Aspen would love a quiet and calm home to spend his days spreading all of his kitty-love!
Aspen is currently in foster care. A meet and greet can be schedule once an application has been received, and approved. Please complete an onlline application located at animalfriendsrescue.org.

Additional adoption info
Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.
All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
