My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet and playful Lisa is a 2-year-old mom cat ready for her second start. After being found in a plastic container with her legs tied (and a litter of nursing kittens), she is ready for a life of snuggles, scratches, and companionship. Lisa (with her big and beautiful eyes!) loves to play and will greet everyone she meets with a little kiss and nose boop. She is a more independent lady and prefers to give attention on her own terms. She would love a moderately experienced cat home with a patient adopter/family (children over 12) that will allow her to decompress, and explore on her own terms.

Lisa needs to be the only cat in the home, but she would do well with a mellow, cat-savvy dog.

Lisa is currently in foster care. Meet and greets can be arranged once your online application has been received and approved. Visit www.animalfriendsrescue.org for an online cat application. You can also visit Lisa's instagram page!! @fosteringlisa

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
