My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Stitch, a handsome long-haired male cat born on 4-29-22, ready to weave his way into your heart and home! This charming fellow comes fully equipped with a personality as delightful as his fluffy coat.

Stitch is not just your average cat; he's a bundle of love and adventure waiting to brighten up your days. With his front paws declawed and vaccinations up to date, he's all set to embark on his next chapter with you.

This sociable guy has a knack for making friends, having previously thrived in a home with other cats. While he's shown promise with feline companions, Stitch's feelings towards dogs remain a mystery, so a dog-free household might be best for him.

Whether you're looking for a cuddle buddy or a playmate, Stitch is up for the challenge! If you're ready to provide Stitch with the loving home he deserves, don't hesitate to apply online today at eastshoreha.org. Once our dedicated staff processes your application, we'll be in touch to arrange a meet and greet. Get ready to welcome Stitch into your life and embark on countless adventures together!

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
