My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Boris!

Get ready for a burst of personality with Boris! This fun-loving, talkative, and cuddle-loving cat is here to steal your heart.

Boris found his way to the shelter as a stray, but he's quickly become a favorite among staff thanks to his charming personality. With an estimated date of birth of March 23, 2018, Boris is in the prime of his life and ready to bring joy and laughter to his forever home.

While Boris did test positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), this is no reason to overlook him. FIV-positive cats like Boris can lead long, normal lives, and the virus is only contagious through deep punctures between cats. With proper care and attention, Boris can enjoy many happy years ahead.

This love bug is known for his affectionate nature and his penchant for conversation. Whether he's snuggled up in your lap or chirping away to catch your attention, Boris is sure to bring endless smiles to your face.

If you're ready to invite Boris into your home and heart, don't wait any longer! Apply online at eastshoreha.org to meet and adopt Boris. Once your application is processed and approved, our staff will be in touch to arrange your very own personal appointment to meet Boris and take this awesome guy home.

Don't miss out on the opportunity to welcome Boris into your life. Apply now and make him a cherished member of your family!

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
