My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This dog`s adoption fee has been generously sponsored!

Meet Kate! Kate is an enthusiastic almost-2-year-old Pitbull mix with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! This sweet and friendly girl gets along with just about everyone—she’s always happy to make new friends.

While Kate adores playtime and fun, she can be a bit shy in busy environments and around loud noises. She’s looking for a patient and supportive forever home that will help her build confidence and blossom into the brave, self-assured pup she’s ready to be. Then, once she gets excited, Kate can show off her adorable excitement with wiggles, tail wags, and jumps. So, she`s also hoping to find someone who can help her settle down when things get way too cool!

If you’re looking for a loving, playful companion who just needs a little encouragement to shine, Kate might be the perfect match. Come meet her today!

More about this shelter

Founded in 1868, The SF SPCA is a community-supported nonprofit dedicated to saving, protecting and caring for cats and dogs. We do this through immediate care of animals that are homeless, ill or in need of an advocate, but we also work to educate the community, reduce the number of unwanted kittens and puppies through spaying/neutering, and improve the quality of life for animals and their companions.
