Hola friends, My name is Cris, and I was living at a dog rescue in Jalisco Mexico patiently waiting to be adopted. But fate had a different plan for me… instead, 4 Little Paws Rescue brought me to America on a bus along with 30 other rescue dogs to help us find forever homes. So here I am. Currently in San Antonio Texas with my new foster parents, children, and the resident dogs, and I have settled in nicely, making friends with everyone.
I am a 3-year-old, 15 lb Chihuahua mix, lean and leggy with big ol’ Texas-sized ears. I’m sweet and gentle with an easygoing nature, a go-with-the-flow personality and I’m looking for love. I carry a special gentleness for people young and old, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and a soft inviting gaze, and I enjoy the company of other dogs although I am not feeling playful... yet. I’m still adjusting to all the changes, a new environment, and a new language I don't fully understand yet, so I’m sort of a couch potato right now. A couch potato that loves to snuggle beside you for pets and doggy treats. I’m well-behaved and I rarely bark. I don't chew on your things or dig in the yard. I do not fear loud noises or have separation anxiety. I’m independent and don't mind being in my cozy crate. I’m just a sweet boy with a beautiful heart and adorable face, and I would flourish as someone's forever dog, proudly wearing a collar and tag with my name and your phone number, hint-hint.
I will be moving to Connecticut next week and hear many wonderful families on the East Coast would be happy to have a sweet little dog like me, so I can't wait to meet them and get my life started!
