Please meet Delta! She will be 3 in June so still has some puppy energy, but she is a very good listener. All Delta wants is her people, she loves being petted and will let you know when she needs that attention. She is a clinger; she will follow you everywhere. She is potty trained and will use the doggy door, so she has the freedom to go when she needs to. She is also crate trained, she sleeps in her crate and will reluctantly go in when you need to leave her. She is very treat focused so treats are used when she listens, going in her crate for the night and any other time. Also, for fun, since she will sit and run for them as prompted. No health issues at this time, she came in with a rectal polyp that was removed and tested. She was also fixed at that time. She gets along with other dogs, more like she isn't bothered by them she does her own thing, will play once in a while but really all she is about is you.
Delta would do great in a home where people are around, she sleeps and will play most of her day. There are toys everywhere so if she wants, she can play and take them to bed or lie next to you and squeak away!
If you are interested in Delta please fill out an application on the bulldoghavenw.org website and specify her name.

Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
