Hi, I'm cassidy. I'm a 2-year-old French Bulldog dark chocolate brindle with a white chest. I just got here and boy let me tell you it's really different than the city. I love playing with toys and jumping in the snow, I bite the snow too and throw it around. I'm very energetic and I love attention, and I demand that you let me sleep next to you. If you don't I will cry all night.
I am potty trained but if I have to wait for more than a few minutes at the door you'll be sorry, I'm also leash trained so if you just let me out in the yard I will only play and then I'll potty when I come back in . I also require a midnight break meaning you have to take me out in the middle of the night , and I'll let you know with a little whimper . I'm only 2 years old but I will let you know every time, and I'll try my best not to have any accidents. I love to play tug of war and when I'm outside I love to play outside as well, I think I'm a lot bigger than I am. I also fetch and actually bring it back but I can be a little demanding even if you're working. I have food allergies that my mom is working on figuring out right now and potential ivdd which the vet is working on figuring out right now. All together though I'm pretty healthy and very playful and would love to be the queen of my castle although I can play friendly. I'm not sure if I like cats because I've never been around them but I definitely like to play with other dogs for short times. I prefer to have a house with a yard and few stairs if not no stairs because my back can hurt sometimes. If I sound like a good fit for you please send in an application. Adoption fees are based on the breed, health, age, and behavioral status of each dog. All dogs are microchipped, spayed or neutered, vaccinated, flea/worm treated and have had a wellness exam before becoming adoptable. If you are interested in adopting a BHNW dog, please fill out the online application. If you are matched to the dog you are interested in or another dog in our program, you will be contacted by the foster family. Prior to adopting, there is a mandatory home evaluation to ensure your home and family are ready for that dog. We require a contract for all adoptions and there is a two-week trial to ensure a good match. If for any reason you can no longer care for the dog you adopted from us, that dog must be returned to our program.
