My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sally is the runt of Shelby's puppies, who along with their mom were rescued from BARC in Houston on Feb 13, 2024. In spite of being picked on by her siblings, she is bubbly, happy puppy who is not afraid of people and enjoys playing. Sally's so cute, she loves carrying toys around in her mouth and doesn't put them down even when she wants to bark, it's really funny! This beautiful little girl is not only adorable on the outside, but also has a heart of gold. Don't miss out on the opportunity to bring this special puppy into your loving home.

If you're interested in fostering or adopting this affectionate, happy little puppy, please complete an application right away! You can find them on our Facebook page or our website, lastminutedogrescue.com. She and the rest are available to be transported to many parts of the US or Canada.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

People can submit an adoption application

2.

Interview

First we do reference checks, THEN we do a full 1 to 1.5 hr interview with the applicant

3.

Home Check

Home checks used to be done in person but lately we do a zoom walk through of the home, checking especially the backyard and crate set up

4.

Meet the Pet

If the dog is here in Canada they can do a meet and greet to finalize that they are in fact who they say they are and a good match

5.

Approve Application

we would send an email approving the adopter (or declining if they aren't approved)

6.

Sign Adoption Contract

We would send the adoption contract which they would fill out and send back.

7.

Pay Fee

They would transfer the adoption fee to cover transport costs and vetting of the dog. Then they would come pick up the dog from the foster.

Additional adoption info

No other additional information. Some of our dogs are adopted as soon as they come up on a "foster-to-adopt" trial period to ensure the perfect match.

More about this rescue
