My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Botchy!

Are you in search of a loving feline companion who's as unique as he is beautiful? Look no further than Botchy! This stunning cream, orange, and white short-haired adult cat is ready to capture your heart.

Botchy's journey began as a local stray until he found his way to the shelter. Now, after being neutered and receiving all necessary vaccinations, Botchy is on the lookout for a forever home where he can bask in love and comfort indoors.

Despite being FIV positive, Botchy is as vibrant and deserving of love as any other cat. FIV, or Feline Immunodeficiency Virus, doesn't define him. Cats like Botchy can live long, healthy lives just like their FIV-negative counterparts. It's important to note that FIV is primarily transmitted through deep puncture wounds and blood-to-blood contact, meaning there's no need for concern in a loving home environment.

With a penchant for pets and a preference for a quiet atmosphere, Botchy is sure to thrive in a peaceful household. He's also open to the company of other feline friends, making him an excellent addition to any multi-cat family.

Don't let this handsome boy spend another day in the shelter! Apply online at eastshoreha.org to bring Botchy home and give him the second chance he deserves. Once our staff processes your application, we'll reach out to schedule your personal appointment to meet Botchy and welcome him into your loving arms.

Don't wait any longer-Botchy is ready to embark on his new journey with you. Apply today and make Botchy a cherished member of your family!

Additional adoption info

Before You Adopt: Please consider these factors before filling out an application:

1. Animals are expensive to care for. They require food, shelter, toys, grooming, and veterinary health and dental care.

2. Animals require attention. You have to clean up after their messes, protect them from anything that might harm them, and make sure they get adequate play time and exercise. Some require training, which takes patience, love, and commitment.

Adopting a Friend: Adopter will fill out an application to start the adoption process. We don't adopt on a first come, first served basis, but instead adopt based on what we feel is in the animal's best interest. We DO NOT ship animals.

Adoption Requirements:

1. Have verifiable identification

2. Be at least 18 years of age

3. If renting, have landlords consent to bring a pet to your home

4. All adopted pets must be spayed or neutered

5. All pets must leave the shelter on a collar and leash, or in a pet carrier

6. Agree to all terms of the adoption contract; ESHA reserves the right to deny any application
